About Us

Our Mission

North Valleys High School Band Boosters is a registered 501c(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to support the band and help provide students with a quality music education.

What we do

North Valleys Band Boosters are dedicated to the success and growth of the North Valleys High School Band Program and its students. We support the Director of Bands in the development of excellence in music education, performance skills and leadership in band students. We accomplish this through the following:

Organizing and coordinating financial support for music equipment, music education personnel, and other music-related needs not covered by School District funding.
Volunteering support and manpower for any and all band-related events not limited to fundraisers, marching band, winter drum line, color guard, concerts, trips and socials.
Being actively involved in mentoring fellow and new band parents, supporting student activities, working with other Booster organizations, and building relationships among members.

GOALS

Current Funding Goals

Repair the current NVHS Band trailer.
Purchase an additional trailer as all equipment and props no longer fit on one trailer.
Purchase a new drum major podium that is more mobile and less dangerous to move.
Purchase or repair current front ensemble equipment. Much of the current equipment was purchased used from other programs or is more than 20 years old as it was purchased new when the school first opened. We would love for the students to have better instruments and proper equipment designed to be moved for competition. (Several things broke during the winter drumline season.)
Hold more inter school activities with feeder schools in order to help build the social and academic relationships between current and future high school students.
Provide catering for the marching band season banquet and the end of year banquet to celebrate all of the student's hard work.
Purchase or create better props for marching band and winter indoor season shows in order to be more competitive.
